Free access for personal trainers to gyms is debated in the Senate this Wednesday (12)
The Senate Sports Committee is discussing, this Wednesday (12), the release of access for personal trainers to gyms.
It will be debated, in a public hearing, Bill 4717/2020authored by Senator Jorge Kajuru (PSB-GO). The proposal provides for free access to gyms by physical education professionals during personalized class times for enrolled students.
If approved, professionals will be exempt from the fees currently charged by physical training institutions.
Positive presence
For the author of the project, the relationship of trust between teacher and student is essential. “It (the project) combines economic justice with consumer rights, by guaranteeing the support of physical education professionals to clients, without unjustified market reservations,” Senator Kajuru told CNN.
Furthermore, the senator stated that “the monitoring of these professionals by their students who are enrolled in gyms does not generate exceptional expenses for the establishments”.
